Recipes for turmeric lattes abound online, but we hadn’t found a packaged option we loved until we tried Australia’s Jomeis Fine Foods Australia’s Jomeis Fine Foods Turmeric Latte. Their vegan, sugar-free and gluten-free blend of turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, black pepper and coconut milk powder sweetened with stevia is as delicious as it is simple to make. Just ½ teaspoon blended with hot milk or water, then mixed with more cold or hot milk, produces a rich, warmly spicy drink with a light cinnamon flavor. ($12 for 48 servings).

Yes, you can make turmeric lattes with fresh turmeric—which we’re big fans of for cooking. Mix fresh turmeric with garlic, shallots, brown sugar and salt and you’ve got a paste for rubbing onto chicken before roasting or a base for soups and stews. But this powdered mix has everything you need to whip up your latte in a hurry, which, let’s face it, is probably how you’re making it anyway. The blend is a perfect gift for yourself or someone else, for an anytime hot drink when you’re not sipping on coffee (we suggest spicing it up with cardamom) or hot chocolate (try this Oaxacan Hot Chocolate, which uses water, not milk, and never look back).

And if you’re on a turmeric kick like everyone else is these days, check out some of our favorite turmeric-laden recipes, from Yellow Split Pea Curry and Turmeric Spiced Fish with Wilted Herbs and Peanuts to this Cilantro-Tomato Omelet with Turmeric Butter. You read that right: turmeric butter. Simply mix ground turmeric into melted butter and use on everything. Enjoy with a turmeric latte.
