Karsyn Tall is Milk Street’s Cooking School Coordinator. She developed her love for food during her childhood but solidified it during high school when she took culinary classes. Karsyn obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition at East Carolina University and became a Registered Dietitian shortly after. She has worked in several areas mainly focused on nutrition but has wanted to branch out into the culinary world ever since studying abroad in Italy for a summer. Since studying in Italy, Karsyn has continued to travel to learn more about the intersection between cultures and food. This has led her to solo-traveling for a month in Europe and most recently a US cross-country trip on an Amtrak train. Along with traveling, some of Karsyn’s interests include collecting cookbooks and watching cooking channels on Youtube.
