Ad popups
I subscribe to Milk Street and like the content. I am annoyed by the ad pop ups that slow down uploading the site content and browsing through site. What is the point of paying for a subscription if you have to put up with pop up ads which make the site experience more frustrating than it is worth paying for??

As a new subscriber to print/digital Milk Street as of yesterday, I have not yet experienced the pop up adds mentioned by John M. But if and when I do, I will feel insulted, unappreciated and irked (as a subscriber.) Non-subscribers can “pay” but putting up with ads. A paid subscription should exempt us from this intrusion.
