Does anyone at Milk Street have any advice about the oyster-shucking devices advertised on Amazon and elsewhere, using a lever to pressure a pointed steel object into the joint or between the shells of an oyster? I stabbed myself a couple weeks ago in the process of opening a couple dozen and I'm looking for alternatives.
Here's a link to the device I'm asking about. Amazon has five or six of them available from different manufacturers, it would appear, but they all seem to operate similarly.
