Gonzalo Guzmán is the chef and owner of Nopalito in San Francisco, CA and author of the James Beard Award-winning “Nopalito ~ A Mexican Kitchen.” After moving to San Francisco from his home in Veracruz, Mexico as a teenager, he worked his way up through the kitchen until he helped open and manage Nopa and eventually Nopalito, which has two locations. Aside from running two restaurants and a full-service catering program, Gonzalo regularly teaches cooking classes at the San Francisco Cooking School.
