The tannins and citrusy, flowery notes of Earl Grey tea are a nice match for sweet, fruity blueberries. In the off-season, frozen blueberries work well here; use them straight from the freezer (don’t thaw them) to minimize the degree to which they tint the pudding.

Unique and delicious
My soul was wanting some rice pudding. I found this recipe. It had many of my favorite flavors — including earl grey and blue berries. It’s easy to make and delicious. Earl grey and blueberries is a really delicious and complementary combination. The pudding is not too sweet, which I also love. It seems as if care was taken to have the optimal amount of sweetness. I added one thing, raw cashews. I typically love the texture in rice pudding, and for me it made this recipe truly great. I added them at the same time I added tea bags, milk and sugar. This way the cashews soften up a bit.
