Seared and Steamed Green Beans and Tomatoes with Feta
In this simple side, sweet cherry (or grape) tomatoes and green beans go into the skillet, where both blister and char. We like the fruity, cuminy notes of Aleppo pepper in this dish, but the earthiness of smoked paprika is great, too. Feta cheese sprinkled on at the end adds salty, briny flavor.

Made this tonight. Used a mixture of aleppo, smoked paprika, and plain paprika - in an attempt to please all family members. We were happy with that.
We will make this recipe again, HOWEVER, for us, to get the green beans cooked to our liking the tomatoes had fallen apart. So we will add the cherry tomatoes after the first 3-4 minutes -- when the green beans have some visible char to them, but before adding water jalapeño and red pepper.
