A little too sweet for me, but it goes well with the fritters.

The recipe is very sweet so I used ketchup that had no sugar in it, and reduced the brown sugar (I used light brown) to about 3/4 of what was asked for. Still sweet but compliments the fritters. If you use ketchup with sugar in the ingredients, I recommend using half of the brown sugar (or even one) and add it at the ned tasting for the sweetness you prefer.
