Frozen puff pastry sheets make this elegant and impressive vegetable tart easy to pull together. We use za’atar, a Middle Eastern herb blend, to add a perfect flavor accent for the vegetables. Poking holes in the rolled-out pastry helps it rise evenly, but leave a 1-inch border around the edges so the pastry forms a light, crisp outer crust.

Tasty Lunch
I don't love zucchini but I am always looking for new ways to try it thinking I might find a way to enjoy it. I used zucchini and topped with feta and basil. Next time I will add olives and I would like to try with asparagus, though I will make it again with zucchini.

Easy & excellent dish but Za’atar brand does impact the dish.
Absolutely love this dish. I’ve made it half a dozen times now and I find that, not surprisingly, the brand of Zaatar mix used does impact the dish. So my reviews: Morton&Bassett Za’atar gives the dish a “musty” flavor. Avoid Morton&Bassett Zaatar. Jerusalem Zaatar Mix is great..fresh flavor! Includes anise seeds in the mix. This brand grows its herb in the USA. I feel that gives a bit more protection in terms of lowered heavy metals contamination risk. New York Shuk Zaatar mix is also a great mix for this tarte. This brand is less aggressive than the Jerusalem brand. Lesion: do not use Morton&Bassett brand Zaatar. Please note that ATK also found Morton&Bassett mix to be subpar so it’s not just me. Given the cost of the spices it pays to do some investigation.

Delicious and easy
Great to use cherry tomatoes and zucchini from my garden.

Fabulous recipe! I mixed the veggies together and let them marinate for about 20 minutes. There was extra liquid in the bottom of the bowl do I decided to pour it on before I baked it. Next time I will save it and pour it on afterwards.

Easy recipe!!! Made this with feta- turned out a little salty; made again with Parmesan and liked it better....

Easy peasy and yummy! My kiddo doesn't like feta so I went with parmesan and a very small amount of mozarella.

The flavors in this dish were great but the puff pastry was soggy on the bottom...and I even sweated the zucchini before using. May try pre-baking the puff pastry before adding the veggies. Any other suggestions?

Maybe preheat a pizza stone in the oven? This works well with pizza crust and could help here!

Not sure how this could NOT be grubbin'. Easy, too!
