Rujak is a fruit and vegetable salad with countless variations across Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore. The ingredient list can be lengthy, but we streamlined by using only easy-to-find ingredients that offer big flavor, texture and visual impact. Fried tofu turns the sweet, savory and spicy salad into a light main course.

Tip

Don’t use silken tofu in this recipe. Its soft, custard-like texture won't hold up to pressing and frying. Extra-firm tofu is best for this recipe.

Great taste!
Agree with the chili garlic sauce : just half is fine. SErved on luke warm rice, this is delicious.

It was ok
I made this adding only half the CHILI-GARLIC SAUCE. If I were to add the entire thing, I don't know who can eat it SO hot. The rest of the dish was just ok. I did not find it delicious and neither did my family members.
