To give these burgers spicy-sweet flavor and mild garlickiness, we mix Asian chili-garlic sauce and a little brown sugar into the ground pork. We also smear the buns with a chili-garlic mayonnaise. Pillow-soft, subtly sweet buns are a particularly good match for the tender, juicy burgers—we especially like potato buns or rolls. Serve with lettuce, sliced tomato, pickles or any of your favorite burger toppings.

Great Burger
Made this following the recipe except that we didn't have the chili-garlic sauce and used chipotle with the mayo and it was great. Can't wait to try it with the chili-garlic sauce.

Meatballs
Would this recipe be good as is to make hor douvre meatballs? Or any additions needed, egg, breadcrumb panade? Thank you for your suggestions, this sounds yummy

Amazing
Made these tasty burgers the other night. Moist, sinfully delicious and just the right amount of heat. My wife, who is a picky eater, raved about the moistness and taste and requested this to be an addition to our meal planning.

Sauce is a keeper for lots of things
These were very good; the flavor was perfect but they were a bit dry. I usually make a panade with bread and milk to keep burgers moist. I will do that again but use the paprika, chili sauce flavorings. But the sauce!!! It's the best; it was great on the burgers but also used it for dipping for sweet potato fries I served as a side. I can see it working for lots of things--burgers, fries, onion rings, vegetables, the list goes on!

I cut way back on the chili-garlic paste as my husband can’t tolerate hot food. It was delicious, but we cooked it on a grill and found that the pork burgers need a bit more time than the standard beef burger. Still delicious, and we will try to do better next time

These were really great cooked on the grill. The only thing I did different was add some chopped cilantro to the mayo which turned out to be a great addition.

So much flavor for very little extra effort! These are excellent!
