Sourdough toasting smell
My wife and I have started making sourdough bagels about once a week. They look and taste amazing but while they are toasting they smell bad. There is nothing outwardly wrong with the bagel and again, it always tastes great. Is this just a feature of sourdough bagels or is there something different we could do to prevent this?
