For contrasting texture, we pair the juicy meat with tender-crisp bell pepper strips. The dish is finished with a sauce made from more soy sauce and honey plus a splash of rice vinegar, creating a perfect balance of salty, sweet and tangy. Garnish with sesame seeds if you like and accompany with steamed rice.

A keeper for the simplicity alone
But it’s also good. No leftovers after my family of four. Might look at doubling next time but will have to make sure I stay true to the technique of cooking in batches.
