Zhoug is a Middle Eastern condiment made with herbs, fresh green chilies, lemon and spices. Its spiciness and bright, fresh, grassy flavors perfectly counter the richness of steak. We use a food processor to minimize the knifework for making zhoug, but if you prefer you can mince the herbs, garlic and chili by hand. If using flank or skirt steak, cut the meat into two or three pieces that fit comfortably in the skillet.

Couldn't be simpler
I used a different cut of steak than recommended. The Zhoug sauce made it special. Delicious with MSK's Mexican-Style Zucchini and Corn and a simple green salad.

It would be nice to be able to search on ingredients for recipes. For instance, I have a lean grass fed sirloin steak. Would be nice if I know if this was a good recipe and it is not easy to tell.
