The Role:

This role is responsible for overseeing content across various e-commerce channels, with a primary focus on Shopify, Amazon, and Meta Shopping platforms. In this role you will focus on creating and managing products and their landing pages across our e-commerce platforms. This includes store merchandising, user experience, product descriptions, uploading & optimizing photo content, and aligning promotions with curated landing pages. This role requires working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, identifying, prioritizing, and implementing e-commerce initiatives to support business goals with a strong focus on customer experience, incremental revenue, and conversion.

Responsibilities:

  • E-Commerce Merchandising: Oversee store merchandising and strategy, add new merchandise and ensure a seamless user experience
  • E-commerce Management: Overseeing the day-to-day operations of our e-commerce platform and updates
  • Multi-Channel Management: Oversee the unique best practices of each core channel, such as Meta, Amazon and TikTok, to ensure compliance and optimal performance across all platforms
  • Store Maintenance: Proactively detect and report any store-related issues, conduct research and collaborate on effective resolutions with the team
  • Reporting and Analytics: Analyze and report on store metrics, use data to inform future decisions
  • Cross-Functional Teamwork: Collaborate with marketing teams (email, paid social, etc.), editorial departments, product buyers, and other stakeholders to maintain consistency across the organization.
  • Communication: Maintain open communication channels with the team, promptly addressing any issues or concerns that may arise
  • Proactive Approach: A proactive mindset, consistently seeking opportunities to enhance processes and drive improvements within the team and on the store.

Qualifications:

  • E-commerce Experience: 1-2 years experience working in e-commerce or retail environments, preferably within the food and culinary industry, would be advantageous.
  • Shopify Plus Expertise: Must be proficient in Shopify management, including managing product listings, merchandising and regular maintenance, and working with 3rd party apps. Experience with Shopify 2.0, ReCharge, and Rebuy preferred.
  • Multi-Channel Management: Experience with third party e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Meta and TikTok, as well as maintenance tools such as Feedonomics and Helium10
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects with moving deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Content Management Skills: Proven experience in content management with an eye for detail and aesthetics. Familiarity with SEO best practices are highly desirable.
  • Project Execution: Experience working on large-scale projects, ranging from website redesigns and integrations, with an ability to navigate complex tasks effectively and deliver clear feedback.
  • Analytical Mindset: Comfortable working with data analytics tools (Shopify and GA4) to understand website performance, user behavior, and identify opportunities. Proficiency in Excel is required.
  • Team Collaboration: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, marketers, and vendors.
  • Email Marketing: Good working knowledge of email marketing is plus.

Preferred:

  • Advanced proficiency with Shopify Plus
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Experience with organizational tools, Airtable preferred
  • Hands-on experience with Digital Asset Management systems like PhotoShelter and AIR
  • Proficient understanding of Amazon Seller Central
  • In-depth familiarity with Meta, TikTok, and Google Commerce platforms

Compensation:

  • Salary range: $45-$50K
  • This is a full-time position based in Boston, MA. Milk Street offers Medical and Dental insurance, 401k, paid vacation, all major holidays off, Summer Fridays (Memorial Day-Labor Day), and much more.
