Lior Lev Sercarz

Lior Lev Sercarz is the chef, spice blender and owner of La Boîte, a biscuits and spice shop in New York where he collaborates with chefs from around the world, developing custom blends for restaurants, including Daniel, Le Bernardin, Zahav, Kawi, Del Posto, Marc Forgione and Michael Mina, among others. He is the author of three cookbooks, including “The Art of Blending,” “The Spice Companion,” and “Mastering Spice: Recipes and Techniques to Transform Your Everyday Cooking.” Up next for Lior includes a new wholesale headquarters and test kitchen for La Boîte. He also serves as the culinary director of the Jewish National Fund-USA Institute of Culinary Arts in Israel’s Upper Eastern Galilee, set to open in 2021.
